Kenton is launching this workshop for anyone who wants to make a film, documentary, or short. He was inspired by the idea for a workshop awhile ago when he did his parents documentary eulogies and people began to ask him to do one for them (when the get old) or help them with stories for their loved ones.
His reply, “I’ll teach you.”
COVID hit, and he had been teaching film students for while and was forced to use Zoom and deliver a transferrable course that would get students some foundations without all the equipment. So, he got teach them everything and the tool were students personal phones, DSLRs, and GoPro and mini-drones.
Things have changed so much. He says, “The game has changed with technology. AND AI is here BUT before touch AI, we need to know to tell a story – via seeing it, hearing it, planning it out shot by shot.”
If someone comes to mind who has a story to tell, pass this along.
